CDP/VR

Computerized Dynamic Posturography/ Virtual Reality (CDP/VR)

Is the highest level of assessment and provides targeted balance rehabilitation for patients suffering from dizziness, balance impairments motion sickness and concussions. This sophisticated equipment objectively tests and measures each of the three systems we use for balance; vision, inner ear and contact with the ground by using immersive virtual reality with dual balance force plate technology. This system has a harness, so don’t worry about falling.

vHIT

Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT), aids in the identification of inner ear dysfunction by examining how your eyes move in comparison to head movement. A video goggle provides an accurate measurement of the Vestibular-Ocular Reflex (VOR)

VNG

Videonystagomgraphy (VNG) is a sophisticated test that can help find out if a vestibular disorder is causing your symptoms.

Terrain Room

We want you to progress in our clinics, but we also want to mimic your environment outside of your therapy with us. You may experience walking on grass, up and down low slopes and a bit of mushy and rocky ground. You may also be involved with performing vestibular exercises while navigating our terrain room.

Overhead Safety Harness

This clinic features over 165ft of a state-of-the-art overhead harness system that offers the utmost fall prevention during rehabilitation. Patients will be able to perform balance exercises with extreme confidence and safety.

Virtualis

Discover Physical Therapy in the realm of Virtual Reality. It is fun, interactive, and highly effective in treating balance & vestibular conditions, & motion sickness.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Is a specialized form of physical therapy exercises customized to reduce or eliminate vertigo and dizziness, inner ear disorders, fall risk and other balance conditions. Other symptoms like nausea, brain fog and fatigue may be reduced as well.

Dry Needling

Involves inserting a micro-thin needle into a muscle knot or what some people call trigger points, thus rebooting, or simply allowing the muscle to relax. This treatment is highly effective, and many patients experience immediate relief & improved function. Conditions treated:

Patients with dizziness often have pain & tightness in their neck, which can add to their cervicogenic dizziness. We utilize dry needling to help reduce tension and pain, improve mobility and reduce dizziness. Many patients have immediate relief.

Smartfit is engaging, fun and motivating. Patients can perform exercises to improve balance & vestibular function, cognitive, motor, and visual function.
