Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Our experienced Occupational Therapists are skilled at adapting the environment to fit the child. Our focus is everyday activities allowing your child to participate at home, school, self-care, leisure, and play. In addition to our therapy, our therapists work with families to help make sure your child is meeting age-appropriate milestones and goals. We love to develop relationships with not only the child but also with the parents, guardians, or caregivers. Feeding

Our Occupational Therapists can help with feeding across the lifespan from birth into young adulthood. OT can assist with positioning for newborns, primitive reflexes to suck on the bottle, lip closure for drinking out of a sippy cup or straw and for utensil usage & bringing food to the mouth as they develop. We also address oral motor deficits such as chewing patterns and tongue movement. Another area of expertise includes Sensory Processing, we help children overcome picky eating habits and tolerance to different textures.
Listining

Therapeutic Listening

Is a technique that uses sound wave vibrations from specialized music to help children with Sensory Integration Dysfunction. If your child experiences cognitive or motor impairments, language disorders or behaviors, this technique is a great treatment to incorporate in their therapy plan.

Pediatric Therapy & Developmental Play Gym

Our Pediatric Gyms are full of purposeful and creative therapy equipment, with fun toys, swings, and more to engage and target developmental goals while our kiddos have fun!  Our Gym was designed to extend imaginations, create self-confidence, learn new skills, and create successful paths of age-appropriate development.

Kids love our Therapy Gym!

When Kaylin first started Occupational Therapy, she was having major meltdowns over tight clothing and her hair. Very quickly she was able to wear clothes for longer periods of time & the melt downs stopped. She can now wear shirts & pants she previously would not wear. New clothes are not an issue. She’s come a long way in a short period and loves the OT’s she has worked with.
